FEBRUARY 26, 2026 - HILTON ADDIS ABABA
The African Ambassadors Club (AAC) Ethiopia Chapter
About Us
Our Background
Recognizing the growing importance of Africa’s collective voice in global affairs, Cyber-Zeb’s leadership envisioned an inclusive forum that would unite African ambassadors, policymakers, and international partners to advance economic diplomacy, political collaboration, and cultural understanding.
Building on this foundation, the Ethiopia Chapter of the African Ambassadors Club has been formally introduced in Addis Ababa, the heart of African diplomacy and the seat of the African Union (AU). Ethiopia’s strategic geopolitical and diplomatic position makes it an ideal platform to anchor a continental dialogue that connects African ambassadors, Ethiopian government officials, private sector leaders, and international organizations for meaningful engagement and sustainable cooperation.
The Club will serve as a hub for diplomatic dialogue, regional integration, and strategic partnerships, aimed at addressing Africa’s shared challenges while amplifying its opportunities for growth and transformation.
Problem Statement
Despite the presence of diverse diplomatic missions and international organizations in Addis Ababa, inter-African collaboration among embassies and ambassadors remains largely informal and fragmented.
There is a pressing need for a structured and institutionalized mechanism that enables African ambassadors and their partners to:
- Coordinate on economic and political agendas of mutual benefit.
- Advocate collectively for African positions in global policy discussions.
- Foster continental solidarity and collaboration beyond bilateral relations; and
- Showcase Africa’s potential in areas of innovation, trade, youth, gender, and cultural diplomacy.
The absence of such a unifying platform has limited Africa’s ability to strategically leverage its diplomatic capital and to translate dialogue into sustainable, cross-border initiatives.
The African Ambassadors Club (AAC) seeks to fill this gap by institutionalizing a framework for collective advocacy, policy engagement, and cultural cooperation.
